The McMaster community is invited to an open house led by Urban Strategies to review and provide comment on the final report of the campus capacity study steering committee.
For the past two years, McMaster University has undertaken a collaborative campus-wide study to determine the University’s physical space capacity and to gain a clearer understanding of how space is used and how activities are scheduled in relation to spatial concerns.
The study addresses needs and issues related to lecture and classroom spaces, spaces required for specific on-campus activities, and, more generally, the future of the University’s infrastructure demands.
The study’s steering committee is chaired by Karen Menard, McMaster’s associate vice-president of institutional research and analysis, and includes a variety of representatives from faculty and staff.
The open house will give members of the McMaster community an opportunity to review the committee’s final recommendations.
