The Ainslie Wood/Westdale Community Association of Resident Homeowners Inc. is hosting its 10th annual spring cleanup of our residential streets, supporting the City of Hamilton’s Clean Up Hamilton Week. Please join us with your family and friends. The snow has melted, and the litter on our streets is an eyesore. The intent is to clean up our own streets and to do so as part of a visible group. Specially marked bags and work gloves will be provided. Just bring water, a hat, and paper and pencil to note addresses that need a property-standards wakeup.
There will be seven meeting locations:
- MacNeill Baptist Church Lawn, 1145 King St. W. (corner of Cline and King)
- Churchill Park, children’s playground
- Sanders Blvd. and Norfolk near Cootes Drive crossing
- Quaker Meeting House 7 Butty Place (off Lower Horning Road)
- 49 Gary Ave. (north of Westwood Avenue)
- 138 Westwood Ave.
- Westside Baptist Church, 261 Whitney Ave.
