The Teaching Gardens in Churchill Park normally go into a quieter maintenance mode over the summer, but the serendipitous gift of the labyrinth/peace garden this year has called us to keep moving forward with our Saturday work parties as we build this wonderful addition to our gardens. We are hoping to get a good-sized group of volunteers out this coming Saturday, to help our labyrinth designer Martyn Kendrick do a final push on getting the labyrinth to completion. You’ll find us behind the Plant Lover’s Garden located behind the peacock cage in the Aviary/Community Gardens enclosure. As always, no tools or experience are necessary, and children are more than welcome! To learn more about the labyrinth, you can check out Martyn’s website at: www.labyrinthkeys.ca. And of course you can also like us on Facebook athttps://www.facebook.com/pages/Teaching-Gardens-at-Churchill-Park-Westdale/154618977937148 , or follow us on twitter @TeachingGarden
