Oh Canada! With Guest Conductor, Gordon Adnams
We will celebrate Canada in music by Godfrey Ridout, Healey Willan, W. H. Anderson, Imant Raminsh, Stephen Chatman, R. Murray Schafer, Donald Patriquin, Oscar Peterson, Leonard Cohen, Ian Tyson, Stan Rogers, Wade Hemsworth and our very own Abigail Richardson. The program will span our cultural mosaic from classical anthems to Newfoundland jigs, with a foray into les chansons Québécoise and even some classic canadian folk. For this concert, Strata has invited guest conductor Gordon Adnams to join us.
