Westdale Summer Camp Fair – George R. Allan School

Back by popular demand, George R. Allan School is once again hosting the Westdale Summer Camp Fair from 6 to 8 pm this Thursday, February 23.

25 local and regional day and residential camps will be on hand to provide you with the information you need to find the best summer experiences for your family!

Come out and find out about some of the many summer programs being offered in and around our community, speak directly with their representatives, and take care of some of those summer registrations on the spot!

We will also be hosting a cafe with coffee, drinks, and delicious baked goods. Enjoy a break from your weekly routine while tackling your summer sign-ups.

Michael Ignatieff – “Taking Liberties: Historicizing 20th Century Human Rights in the English Speaking World”

A public lecture by Michael Ignatieff will kick off a History research workshop, “Taking Liberties: Historicizing 20th Century Human Rights in the English Speaking World,” on Thursday, March 1.

Ignatieff – former Leader of the Opposition in the Canadian House of Commons, and a world authority on human rights history, theory and policy – will be speaking on how human rights have been conceptualized in the second half of the 20th century.

Silent Auction in Support of Westdale Co-op Preschool
