Lager Lecture: The Mindfulness Revolution

According to a February 2014 Time Magazine cover story, we are in the midst of a Mindfulness Revolution.  McMaster University now has a Mindfulness Centre.  Hamilton has its own mindfulness website, www.mindfulnesshamilton.ca.  What is mindfulness?  Why should anyone want to be mindful?  How does one become mindful?  How could and should mindfulness become part of everyday life?  Is this just another New Age fad, or is there some solid research to suggest it is worthy of our attention?  Psychologist Dr. Dick Day, winner of multiple teaching awards, will lead us in this exploration of one of the most fascinating psychological and health movements of modern times.  Lecture and parking are free.  Please register at
