AWWCA Spring Cleanup 2014 – May 3, 10am-12pm

The Ainslie Wood/Westdale Community Association of Resident Homeowners is having its annual spring cleanup of our residential streets, after the students have moved out.  Please join us with your family and friends.

I will soon be announcing meeting locations to distribute the city’s specially marked bags and work gloves. A pen and piece of paper are also useful to bring with you to note any addresses that need a property-standards wakeup call. I will notify the city of these properties after the cleanup.

High school students who help out will be given a two-hour volunteer credit.

I hope I can count on you to come out and help tidy up the winter’s debris. Last year we had a noticeable drop in volunteers.  Please consider joining us–we only do this once a year, and it’ a great communal effort.  Please let me know if you can volunteer, as I need to order supplies from the city and arrange assembly and dropoff points. SPREAD THE WORD!!

Please reply to shelli.eisenberg@sympatico.ca

Thank you.

Shelli Eisenberg
Student Liaison for the AWWCA
